About Dr. Applewhite

Dr. Anrae G. Applewhite is a dedicated and compassionate pediatrician in Franklin, Virginia. She is a life-long resident of Southampton County and is honored to give back to the community that has given so much to her. After receiving an undergraduate degree from The College of William and Mary and a medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School, she completed her pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters. She was the recipient of the Outstanding Resident Award all three years. Dr. Applewhite has been in private practice for over a decade and prides herself on her love for children and her devotion to their whole wellbeing.

About Alexi Snodgrass, PA-C

Alexi M. Snodgrass is a physician assistant in Franklin, Virginia. She was raised in Suffolk but calls Isle of Wight home with her husband and two children. She studied public health at Old Dominion University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree, then received her Masters of Physician Assistant degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School. She fell in love with pediatrics during her schooling and feels blessed to have the opportunity to serve her pediatric patients in a community she loves. She is committed to loving each of her patients as if they were her own and is passionate about providing the best care possible to her patients and their families.

Our prayer is for all children to mature into adults who are strong physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. By deepening and nurturing roots of faith and purpose and promoting healthy and wise decisions, we hope our patients will grow to soar like eagles.
